Motorola X Phone to run the next version of Android

Web giant Google is working on a Motorola X Phone, and it looks set to debut at its annual Google I/O conference in a few months’ time, complete with the next version of Android in tow. Is this going to be your next Android superphone?
The beans have been well and truly spilled for the Motorola-built device thanks to a job posting on LinkedIn calling for a product manager to work on the “X Phone” – and since Motorola has been bought by Google, it could well be the next flagship device to come carrying the latest version of Android, reportedly codenamed Key Lime Pie.
Last year’s Google I/O was the stage for the unveiling of feature-stuffed, super fast Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean”, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise to find the Motorola X Phone at this year’s event, perhaps even running Android 5.0. Stay tuned for the latest info when the Google I/O conference kicks off in May.
