Another Foxconn Employee Claims Apple’s Next iPhone Will Be Released in October

It seems that even Foxconns employees arent fully aware of Apples plans as to when the next iPhone would be released. After a Foxconn recruiter claimed that the new iPhone would be released in June, Foxconns HR head, speaking to South Koreas Maeil Business Newspaper, said that Apple would be sticking to last years schedule with an October release date.

The newspaper spoke to Foxconns Human Resources head at its Taiyuan factory. Kotakureports on the article in the newspaper:
According to a recently published article, the paper asked the head of human resources at Foxconns Taiyuan factory about the iPhone 5 release date. The human resources head apparently told the paper, "We just got the order. It [the release] will be around October."
Although the two Foxconn employees differ in their claims about the release date, they do agree on Foxconns agressive hiring to meet the anticipated demand of the new iPhone.

Its strange that the HR head spoke to the newspaper non-anonymously. Apples known to be very particular about keeping their plans about future products secret. Of course, that doesnt mean the information the HR head provides is accurate for sure. For all we know, Apple might still be keeping certain Foxconn employees in the dark about the iPhones release date.
